Welcome new and existing Students to the Academy of Performing Arts on Broadway. We believe in a dance education that inspires young people to be the best they can be! Through proper dance training, your child will experience a physical activity that will inspire dedication, teamwork and discipline, as well as other qualities that will last long after their dance classes are over. The Academy prides itself on providing every student with an educational and inspiring
classroom atmosphere.
The Academy of Performing Arts had an outstanding year this past dance season! In September our Junior Competitive Tap Team was invited to the Roger's Centre downtown Toronto, to audition for "Canada's Got Talent". In December Lily Qushair & Deborah Walsom both made the Canadian National Tap Team and represented Canada in Germany. We had a very successful competitive season, which was highlighted by our Senior Tap Routine winning "Most Entertaining of 2012" out of 9000 entries. We are looking forward to an even more exciting 2012-2013 Season, when our competitive team will be travelling to Orlando, Florida to Dance at Disney World!
